run run revolution™

run run revolution™ is an exuberant and touching two hour special series following 10 inactive middle school students as they train to run in the youth section of the Boston Marathon.  The stars, however, are the kids themselves.  They are the faces of the next generation of Canadians, one whose state of health need not be dictated by fast-food and video games.



Episode Guide
Episode 1:

The Run Run Revolution team has only three months to train for the race of their lives at the Boston Marathon Weekend - and it's a lot harder than everyone expected.  Coach Daryl Devonish has to turn ten sedentary kids into athletes.  Dietician Jennifer Sygo has to get them off sugar and junk and into better eating habits.  The biggest challenges are faced by the kids themselves as they struggle to break bad habits, learn how to be part a team and transform their lives.

The sprint relay and 5K races in Boston are coming up fast and not everyone is pulling their weight.  It's time for Coach D and the team  to make some tough decisions and overcome last minute challenges if they want to be ready to take on Boston.
